Convertible Vaults

What do I need to earn yield with Shbank?

You only need a crypto wallet to connect to the app and tokens to make the investment. Stay tuned to not miss the Deposit phase of our new !

What wallets does Shbank support?

Shbank supports all sorts of wallets: Metamask, Ledger, Coinbase, Walletconnect etc

What assets do I need to earn yield?

To participate in a vault, the vault needs to be in Deposit State, which usually lasts for a few days and has a maximum capacity. You need to own the underlying tokens to be part of the vault. Check out our Available Tokens.

How does the investment work?

The vault starts with a Deposit State where users can deposit the underlying token to participate in the investment. It is then followed by the Locked State in which the tokens are locked for the predetermined maturity period of the vault. At the maturity date, the vault permanently transitions into the Release State allowing users to withdraw their tokens, the stable coin yield and the SBK rewards.

Are the displayed APYs accurate?

The APYs are predicted with a high accuracy, although gas fees and price fluctuations might slightly shift them.

What happens if I forget to withdraw my funds/rewards?

Each vault has a maturity date beyond which, the vault stays permanently in Release State to allow the users to withdraw their tokens and rewards whenever they want.

Is there a possibility that the investment makes me lose money?

The convertible vault behavior shouldn't cause users to lose in dollar terms, there are two possible scenarios:

  1. There is no conversion: In that case, the user ends up with the same amount of deposited tokens in addition to the stable coin yield and SBK rewards

  2. There is partial conversion of the tokens: In that case, the user still ends up with more assets and yield than initially deposited in dollar terms

How does the convertible work anyways?

The deposited tokens earn a stable coin and SBK APY displayed by the vault, in addition a proportion of those tokens are converted if the price exceeds the limit price. This event always results in an increase in the portfolio value of the user. Please refer to the Profit Calculator section of each vault for a more accurate simulation.
